We just released the uncut dvd of A Few Bullets More like we said, but we got some other discs coming (with no case/cover though) but they'll be much cheaper.

First we'll be putting out a Remastered DVD of Gabrielle Beaumont's "CARMILLA" (1989)
starring Ione Skye and Meg Tilly, this was a made for cable movie and it's a retelling of the famous story by Sheridan Le Fenu. We'll be the only site selling this film in this fine quality.

Next is the campy 80's Flashdance rip off film "Heavenly Bodies" (1984),
with Susan Dale. This title will have the same great quality as Carmilla above, but
the source we used was from Japan, so there are burned in Japanese subtitles at the bottom
of the screen. It still isn't to be missed though if you have a love for camp 80's films.

THE UGLY ONES / DJANGO THE BASTARD (REMASTERED) SCREENSHOTS

We finally finished the transfers for "Django the Bastard" and "The Ugly Ones".
"La Belva" should follow soon as well. All three will be on the site in about two weeks.
Each film will come with full case and cover art and will be presented in Anamorphic Widescreen (Progressive Scan) with menu and featuring the English dub (mono) and will be priced at $15.00 each.

You're all probably wondering -- "Where's all the new western's?"

Well, there's actually quite a few we're working on and we gotta make sure they look GREAT before we put them on the site.

First we got "La Belva - The Beast" with Klaus Kinski.
Kinski plays an ugly low life bastard who just wants some easy money and any woman he can get his hands on, but there's always somebody getting in his way.

The transfer is finished and we've been waiting on the translator to get back to us, cause there's a very brief scene that is not in the american cut that we need to get subtitled.

Then we got "El Precio de un hombre/The Bounty Killer/The Ugly Ones" whatever you want to call it, it's one western that's been dying for some proper restoration.

The film stars Tomas Milian (in his first Spaghetti) as Gomez.
Gomez returns to his hometown after a long absence, but he's got a Bounty Hunter after him.
The townspeople protect Gomez, unaware, at first, that he's now a changed and dangerous man.

There is a German DVD from Marketing Film that is full of frame blending because they used a NTSC source and didn't know how to properly convert it to PAL, then there's a bootleg from Shoarma Digital that just stole Marketing Films print and tried to convert it back to NTSC and looks worse than the original. Either they took the German DVD or used the Japanese DVD which also looks really ugly (I can't tell). Don't worry ours will be fully progressive and non-interlaced and none of the problems that those other discs had.

Both titles should be available very soon. We're also working on designing cover art and getting these pressed as well.
Both titles will be in Anamorphic Widescreen (progressive scan) featuring the English dub track.

Ok here's the long lost italian giallo "A.A.A Massaggiatrice bella presenza offeresi...:

This is an extremely rare giallo and a pretty good one at that.

There is an unsubtitled bootleg floating around out there, so now you can finally watch this film and get the crazy twist at the end. The film was sourced from a tape source so it's not as crystal clear as we'd like.

Well, they're finally here after so much demand.
We've finally been able to get some of our titles factory pressed, these are extremely limited and just a reminder - Face to Face has almost sold out.
We have some future releases that will only be presented this way, and we'll be going back in the catalog to get more DVD's pressed like this.

We just finished working on a new remastered - progressive scan - transfer and new english subtitles for the Mikio Naruse classic "Husband and Wife"
We've posted screenshots so you can see the huge difference between ours and what you'll get from some other site.
Not only is our transfer superior, but so are our subtitles. The bootleg that we encountered was hardly coherent.
Now you can enjoy this great classic from Japan remastered in the highest quality.

NEVER TOO YOUNG TO DIE

If you need one reason to watch this movie I can sum that reason up for you in 5 words: “Gene Simmons plays a Hermaphrodite.”

Yes, that is right, Gene Simmons, lead singer of KISS, star of the reality series “Gene Simmons Family Jewels,” apparently Mr. Simmons decided to take on the challenging roll of the notorious Velvet Von Ragner, the cross dressing, dagger press on nail weapon touting arch villain, who leads a gang of dune buggy riding, Mohawk sporting thugs who seek out a floppy disk (this is 1986 people) that will let them “poison the city water supply…forever.”

I for one found it refreshing to finally see this movie character minority, the lonesome Hermaphrodite, finally give their screen time. If it wasn’t for this role or Jamie Lee Curtis, these individuals would go on neglected in Hollywood for most of this and the past century, but on to the rest of the movie.

Drew Stargrove, played by the one and done James Bond, George Lazenby, is a super spy and Ragner’s arch enemy who has the elusive disk that will bring down the water supply, but being that he is a super spy, he has cleverly sent this disk off to him unsuspecting son, and star college gymnast, Lance Stargrove. By the way did I mention I love the name Stargrove, and the opening credits song that goes with Lance’s gymnastic routine that brings us into the movie as well as introducing us to Stamos’ ability to do flips on a trampoline. Lance is already a self made college man, who likes spy gadgets his roommate Cliff, designs for him to help him cheat on tests, from what I can tell anyway.

After Lance learns of his father’s death he gets sucked into the world of espionage by dad’s partner Danja, sort of a B-movie Rae Dawn Chong, but hotter. After a shoot out at a farm Lance has inherited he is determined to bring down the man/woman who killed his father. Ragner, who apparently has resurfaced after years of hiding, now performs nightly at a typical local LA club called “The Incinerator” where you can drive your motorcycle right in the front door, down the elevator and into the bar. So, 80’s LA. This is where Lance confronts his father’s nemesis and points him on the path to completing his hero’s journey.

There are some very amusing action sequences throughout this movie, from the mace and axe wielding goons on motorcycles and the trucker wearing head phones and drinking a fifth of someone to the Stamos gun fight and bitch slapping toe to toe with Simmons. As well as a strange but hilarious seduction scene where Danja removes more and more clothing until she’s topless hosing herself down as Lance keeps going inside of a Perrier, an apple and another piece of fruit until finally catching on.

Will this be a movie you’ll watch to discuss the craft of storytelling, probably not, but if you enjoy 80’s action movies, where the shoulder pads were gigantic and everyone’s hair was nine inches above their heads this is definitely a fun time to watch with some friends.

The sound quality of the DVD is fantastic and the picture quality is fine, it has that 80’s look like a “Gotcha” or “Trenchcoat,” and not to mention actors who really defined the time. There’s even a Robert Englund sighting as one of Ragner’s cronies. But your reason for watching this movie will be the same as mine, John Stamos: action hero. What else can I tell you, except to leave you with the definitive Stargrove, what would most likely have been a catch phrase, line: “If you’d excuse me I don’t have a lot of time, I’ve got to go save the world.” Ah, what could have been.
